Works as Promised

After reading the reviews, I downloaded the app, changed the output folder, dropped in a WMA file, pressed "convert," and the software quickly converted it into a usable mp3 file. Super easy to use. Exactly what I expected.

OH OH OH OH

AWESOME!

There was no need for instructions because this program works exceptionally well & is extremely easy to use… It has quality playback sound & the files are saved quickly in the music folder…I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about this application…Try it, you’ll love it!! Thanks!!

Gets the Job Done!

I just downloaded this app to convert a number of albums in wma to mp3. Works like a charm! Just make sure you go to settings -> preferences -> and check to open output location when conversion is complete! Simple and to the point application!

Great little app, did exactly what I wanted / needed

Everyone should be rating this a 5; took the advise of a previous review and changed the destination folder, dragged and dropped the files I wanted converted and clicked - that’s it! Compltely idiot proof and a great value as you’re not paying for extra stuff that you don’t need or want.

Easy and fairly fast

Very easy to use and does exactly what it says it does. I’d give it 5 stars if it were a little easier. If I could suggest something to the developer, I’d happily give it 5 stars if it would automatically search for wma files and give you the option to convert all. Also, it would be nice if I could drop a folder (album) as opposed to individual files (tracks). But all in all, it is an awesome app. Does what it says in a relatively short time, where expensive programs have fell short. Buy this app before any other file converter. You wont be disappointed.

Great, just have to know what folder it is sent to

Fast, easy, super light feeling. I was stumped for a bit on how to find my converted files, but finally thought to read the reviews for clues. Piece of cake once you know. =) Just go to Preferences and a window pops up with the folder name and path. Once you know where it is, it is easy to navigate to it and import the files to iTunes. Great app!

Converts to MP3… But…

I bought this app to batch convert a bunch of AAC files to MP3 as my Jeep has a Hard Drive in it that plays MP3 files. Well, after converting the files and loading them onto the hard drive, nothing was showing up by Album, Artist, etc. Well, it appears that the app is not bringing the metadata over correctly. I’ve had to go back to iTunes and convert MP3s that way.

Does the job, could be better

I wasn’t bothered by the “Where’s my file?” problem others have mentioned. I did have to search for it in the Finder, but there it was inside the Music folder in my Home folder, which is fairly logical. You can change where files are saved in the programs Preferences, but that’s the only Preference you can configure. That’s unfortunate, since the interface needs work; it’s simple, that’s good, but maybe too simple. You set the quality (bitrate) for the file or files you are converting, but any changes you make won’t be remembered the next time you launch the program. So if you’d typically rather use a quality setting other than “Highest” to get smaller files, you’ve got an extra step each time. If you want to convert several files or maybe a large batch at the same time, but use a different setting for one or more of them, that’s also not possible. You’re also stuck with saving all the files you’re converting to the same folder, though you might rather save them to different folders, or to the folder where the original file resides. I’m also annoyed that program won’t tell me what bitrate it’s using for various settings (Highest, High, Middle) and let me select the bitrate; other mp3 programs in the App Store that cost about the same provide more options and more information. To sum it up, I wish the program was either more capable and configurable, or even quicker and easier to use. To be fair, I’m sure some will like, even prefer the simplicity of this program to other options, and won’t be bothered by the limitations I’ve mentioned.

Excellent!!

It does the job very quickly!! Great price, great quality. I am very glad that I bought this app!!!

Does not work - conversion always “fail"

This is a waste of money. Followed advice from a review and set the output as desired, a pen drive in my case. Select the file to convert to MP3, Moved files, wma in this case, hit convert button. “Failed” immediately. Tried again with a single file, no success. Tried with files from iTunes, no success.

unable to download

attempted to download this app to my mac through the app store. I continue to receive “Unable to Download app” message, despite running latest version of OS X. Please refund my money.

Useless

This app fails every time I try to convert audio files. It simply creates the output file of 0 bytes and says it failed to convert.

If you don’t do this you wont be able to find your music (Mac Users)

When you open this App click MP3-Converter at the top left next to the apple symbol -Then click preferences- then check the tab that says “ open output folder when finished” when they finish converting then it will promt you to open the folder. You can then simply drag the files into your iTunes.
