MP3-Converter App Reviews

anyone having trouble? the problem is...

i know that they do not include any specific instructions for the program, which is a definite problem. Anyone who needs help solving the problem of what happens after the conversion, can be solved in a couple easy steps. The problem is that, they set up their own folder to send the conversions too. You need to set up your own folder. 1. Go to Mp3-Converter next to the apple at the top of the screen 2. Scroll down, to preferences. 3. a box appears, browse and chose a folder that you would like to place to newly converted files too. (easy as that) amazing application, they just need to inform you of ^ information, instead of making you figure it out yourself.

Works like a charm

Just open the program after downloading and click import then choose the songs from your files. Click convert. Find them super easily by typing mp3 in your file search box!

It works perfectly

This apps does exactly what is in its description. You have to go to the setting and change the default folder to the one that you will save the converted songs to.

Does what it says, and good customer service

This app does exactly what is says it will do. Works like a charm to convert .rm files into more useful mp3s. Also, their customer service is excellent. I accidentally bought the video converter to convert audio files, and the company kindly sent me a credit for a free copy of this app.

Very good

Does just what it says. Could be slicker and quicker but Im very, very happy with the final results to convert my collection.

Recommended!

It works perfectly, exactly the app I needed. Simple, effective control.

Good, not great

It did what I needed it to do, but because all my .wma songs were in different folders based on the album, it took FOREVER to move them all into on or two folders. I did that because it was much easier then to add them into the app and convert several at once. Still, it did exactly what I wanted it to do and what 3 other apps didnt so totally worth it. 1,206 songs in less than 4 hours. Also, songs that showed up as untitled were then titled when put into itunes, so yay! All in all, I would give it 4.5 stars. Note what thedogatesoup said- you can change the file where the new files are saved.

GREAT APP

Very easy to use and iy just works. I converted about 1200 songs from .wma to mp3 and the quality did not alter. Alot of people gave it a bad score cause they said it doesnt convert. I say they didnt look in the right spot once it did convert Home Folder > Music > MP3- Convert you can even change the location to have the converted file to go right into you iTunes or in any folder you choose. Very Easy to use

Does not convert RAM files

App does not convert Real Audio RAM files as stated

Great!

I was looking for a cheap, but good, MP3 converter - and this one fit the bill. It keeps the information for the album and each of the songs, so I dont have to enter them manually. Also, it works flawlessly; I havent yet run into any issues.

Did not work.. waste of money

All of the downloads failed

Doenst do .aa files

Doenst do .aa files. So look elsewhere if you need audiable files converted so you can listen to them on something other than an iPod.

Works perfect, heres what I did

After reading and following the input from "thedogatesoup" titled Careful, I was able to start converting my wma files with ease. I have hundreds of hours of audiobooks that I wasnt able to upload into itunes to put in my car or on my ipod since I have a mac which needs mp3 files. Here are the steps I used, hope it helps you get started. 1. I set up a converted music file on my desktop and designated this as the place I wanted the mp3s to be saved. 2. Opened the MP3 Converter app from my launch pad. 3. Go tot he menu bar on top, select MP3 converter, then select preferences…you will see the path where it defaults to save the files 4. Click browse, find your created file on the desktop and designate it as where you want your files to save to 5. Click the button that says "open the output file when finished" and you will get a prompt following each download. After conversion I was able to select all the new mp3 files and do 2 things: 1. Highlight all the new MP3 files 2. Right click and select open with iTunes which automatically put it into my library 3. Right click and select copy, went back to the original place I had the wma (external hard drive) and pasted the new mp3 files there. 4. Go to the settings gear, select "arrange by", select "kind" to separate the wmas and mp3. 5. selected all the old wmas and dropped them in the trash …all up to date. To make my process easier, I deleted the converted mp3s out of my desktop "converted mp3" file to make the next conversion easier to highlight and copy/open as detailed above. Hope this helps…I am so excited that this is so easy and works perfectly!

Works Great

I had about 4,000 songs I needed converted into mp3 format and this app helped me accomplish that task quite quickly. Dont listen to the one star reviews that say this app doesnt work…those people just dont really know how to work computers.

Useful and Simple

Read the reviews to determine where to find the default saving location. It would be useful to have the "view files" option set by default to make it easier to find the converted files.

Will not convert m4a to mp3

I can play the m4a converted mp3 files on my mac in iTunes, but the files will not play on my sony car stereo. It does convert download iTunes files ok.

doesnt work for me

I have a bunch of WMA files I need to convert that play just fine through VLC but I want them in itunes. Downloaded this program and received "Failed" with no other instructions or feedback. No explanation. If it changes, Ill change the review.

Converted??????

Followed the directions and used info from customer reviews. Shows that it convered wma to mp3 but when I go to itunes to play it just makes a coupla quick sqeeks then plays something else from my music list. Does not work for me. I am trying to convert audio books I have checked out from my local library. Some titles are mp3 format but most are wma format. Any help??

I want a refund

This program does not do a darned thing but show a pretend ticker indicating that a file has been converted. However, it has not been converted. Run away from this turkey.
